Our client is one of the UK's top five construction equipment firms, and they have their head office based in Yorkshire.
They current have a fantastic opportunity for a Trainee systems developer to join their systems development department, and report directly to the Development Team Leader. The role responsibilities are to assist with the building workload for developing quality software and systems to current company standards within agreed time scales. This includes systems design and specification, developing and maintaining in-house software.
This opportunity also offers full training in the SAP ABAP development tool, and the possibility to train further into other areas of SAP technology such as SAP Portals (EP), Exchange Infrastructure (XI) or SAP Business Warehouse (BW).
Our client requires all candidates to be educated to Degree level, or equivalent, in an IT related discipline and have some experience in basic systems development with at least one of the following: C#, C++, Java, SAP ABAP, PL/ SQL, Oracle 10g, Microsoft VB, .NET. You would also be expected to be familiar with Microsoft Office products and the full development cycle.
Modis is a key supplier to this client, and as a result will be able to secure feedback and interviews for the right candidates on very short notice.
