We are looking for a Senior Oracle DBA to join a market leading software vendor with a global presence looking to recruit the a dynamic Senior Oracle DBA with an excellent record to work on support and project basis. This is a customer-focused role, and you will be responsible for ensuring my client's global customer base is effectively supported.
The successful Oracle DBA will be involved in all areas including providing detailed documentation at all stages. Working knowledge of Oracle 9i and Oracle 10g RAC or ASM is essential, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills are mandatory in acquiring the position - as you will need to be able to communicate confidently at all levels of senior management including being able to give presentations. For this position you must have had experience with the design and implementation of RAC and ASM (Oracle) Any industry qualifications are advantageous but not mandatory in acquiring the position. Any experience of SQL Server 2005 is very advantageous in acquiring the position. The most important requirement of this role is the depth of experience (Oracle 10g RAC, ASM).
