Senior Firewall Engineer - Kent
We are currently seeking a Senior Firewall Engineer to join an expanding team of professionals with in a highly regarded global consultancy. They currently deal with the market leaders of today across a variety of sectors. They are a technology driven organisation who takes a leading edge in the IT market place by harnessing the latest advances in technology across the board. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is target driven and enjoys working within a technologically advanced site.
As a Senior Firewall Engineer you will work with some of the most talented network technicians and engineers from across the UK. You will provide support on any incidents escalating any unresolved issues in a client-facing environment. Your primary role will be a project focused position where you will take part in the design and installation of firewall solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to take part in complex Cisco firewall design and implementations.
The ideal candidate will be have had experience with Cisco products (Cisco firewalls, Cisco routers and switches) and will have been involved in the design, implementation and support (100 firewalls or more) of Cisco firewall solutions. You will need experience of being able to support networks (LAN, WAN environment). As a mandatory you will need experience with load balancing (F5 Load Balance, F5 Traffic Manager, F5 Traffic Builder).
