A leading supplier IT software & Services solutions require a 1st Line Support Analyst to work within their Managed Services Team that is responsible for providing a complete set of services to manage capacity, performance and availability to it?s customer based. Support staff are responsible for providing technical support to the company?s customer base, from initial point of contact through to resolution, via a combination of technical and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
?Provide a professional 1st line support service across the customer base.
?Monitor hosted server environments and provide remote support.
?Develop knowledge and skill sets to confidently support products and solutions
?Develop customer relationships
?Utilise knowledge and experience of operating systems and databases to investigate reported faults.
? Ensure that reported issues are resolved within customer service level agreements (SLA?s).
?Liaise with business units and 3rd parties to ensure a seamless support service.
?Provision of out of hours (weekend and evening) support via home VPN on a rota basis.
To be considered, you must possess:
?Candidates will have 1-2 experience in a customer service/ support role
?Excellent communication skills are essential, as this position will involve contact with customers at all levels. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate a professional attitude and high level of commitment.
?The applicant must be keen and able to learn new products and technology. As this is a busy position, the successful applicant will need to be enthusiastic and committed to the role.
?The applicant will also need to be able to work in harmony with colleagues and be prepared to take on additional duties not covered above.
?An understanding of server and desktop operating systems, including Windows, Solaris, Linux would be advantageous.
?This role will suit someone with a bespoke software support background who is used to working with a customer base that covers a broad spectrum in terms of their own technical ability
