Quantity Surveyor / Project Quantity Surveyor - Main Contractor in Swindon
My client, based in Swindon, is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their Quantity Surveying team. Currently there are 7 other Quantity Surveyors working in the office, so as the Project Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for handling your own projects as well as running packages on larger team projects. There is also the opportunity to help train some of the more junior Quantity Surveyors.
Location: Office based in Swindon, with sites throughout Wiltshire, Somerset and Berkshire
Remuneration:
Up to £39,000 per annum depending on Quantity Surveyor experience
Negotiable package including, car / allowance, pension, bonus and health cover

My client covers a wide and diverse range of projects, from New Build construction to repair and maintenance. The company were established over 100 years ago, and have built a strong reputation within the marketplace, reflected by over 85% of their turnover from repeat business.
The Quantity Surveyor Role:
As the Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for managing individual projects, as well as working within the team on larger projects. Currently there are 7 Quantity Surveyors in the team, so as the Project Quantity Surveyor you will fit in underneath the 2 Senior Quantity Surveyors, and help to train / develop the 3 Assistant Quantity Surveyors.
Requirements:
Ideally 5 or more years UK Quantity Surveyor experience
A Construction related degree
Professional memberships advantageous
Main contractor and Construction background desirable
