Support Analyst/ SQL DBA
My Client, a growing and successful investment management firm requires a Support Analyst/ SQL DBA. The successful incumbent will be a skilled analyst with strong SQL, DBA and environment experience using SQL Server 2000 and SQL Server 2005. You will have good experience of relational database, Transact-SQL and reporting tools and some experience of administering Windows 2000, Windows 2003 servers. Experience of the LatentZero Capstone application suite would be advantageous but the successful candidate should have exposure to Change Management processes and an understanding of Talarian SmartSockets or other messaging systems. Biztalk Experience would be desirable alongside MQ. Responsibilities of the role would include: Build test environments and install software, 3rd line support to the Application Support and Core Systems teams when required, provide guidance and recommendations on Hardware purchase and configuration, co-ordinate and perform refreshes of Environments on an ad-hoc basis, working within an ITIL framework and supporting the change management processes in place and performing QA and releases into all test environments which come under the team's responsibility.
