Our client is a world leading company that provides complete system solutions for all types of fixed or rotary wing aircraft in the civil and military sectors. Our client is expanding into offering a wide range of services throughout the business' markets including the satcom industry. They are seeking an International Sales Manager to develop and implement a sales plan for agreed markets (primarily satcom) in close co-operation with internal and external partners.
International Sales Manager responsibilities:
+ Deliver the sales plan from channel and end-user prospect identification and initial presentation through to contract negotiation and account/ channel management
+ Create product propositions identifying and defining value-adding services to differentiate the service
+ Order-intake planning, business reveiws and budget setting activities
+ Support promotional activities to develop new service provider or end-user prospects
+ Act as a full member of the channel partner distribution team - inputting to the business and supporting colleagues
International Sales Manager experience required:
+ Experience in the mobile satellite communications market would be ideal, or a strong technology background within the energy (oil and gas), military or aid and trade industries and the ability to learn and sell new technologies quickly
+ Knowledge and experience of selling into military and/ or civil IT/ communications markets in a primarily international sales environment
+ Experience of long sale cycles, consultative selling and account management
+ Experience of planning and management forecasts and budgets
+ Excellent presentation skills
This role will involve circa 50% international travel.
The successful candidate must have or be able to obtain UK SC security clearance.
A salary of up to £55k is accompanied by a competitive benefits package
