Senior ERP Project Manager
Harvey Nash is exclusively recruiting for a fast paced, forward thinking, dynamic & growing organisation based in Newmarket. This conglomerate of companies that operates on an international basis is eager to secure a Senior ERP Project Manager as soon as possible on a 1 year fixed term basis.
What is the purpose of the job?
To oversee the implementation on AS400 from System 21 to Aurora.
This implementation will include the validation of system requirements, vendor negotiations/selection, management of vendor and internal project resources, management of the implementation and transition process, thorough documentation throughout the project, and the management of the training for new systems.
What are the key responsibilities?
Create and track program and project plans, milestones, deliverables, and budget
Lead project status meetings
Create and manage program and project work groups
Coordinate with IT directors, Business Managers, Resource Managers for resource assignments, creation of project deliverables, issue resolution and escalation
Maintain detailed project documentation including meeting minutes and action items
Maintain an issues & risks log; pro-actively work to resolve the issues/risks and monitor progress on resolution
Follow change control processes
Develop PowerPoint presentations for periodic executive management updates
Maintain project budgets including monthly accruals and forecasts
What experience do I need?
Proven project management experience
In depth experience managing large-scale, multi-year, ERP Implementations.
Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering large complex software development projects, including project scope, schedule, resources, quality, costs and change management
Prince2 or Similar Certification Preferred
Strong stakeholder management
Ideally Warehouse Management System exposure
Excellent stakeholder management skills
