Senior Embedded Software Engineer

A leading electronics company are looking for an experienced embedded software engineer to join their growing R&D team. You’ll be developing a wide range of applications, from machine control to telemetry and navigation products. This household name company offer exceptional routes for career progression, and the opportunity to visit customer sites far away from where tourists usually roam.
Required skills:
- Real-time embedded C/ Assembler
- Modelling experience (MATLAB/ Simulink, etc.)
Desirable:
- Appreciation of electronics, including microprocessors and low frequency analogue circuits
- Appreciation of Z and Laplace transforms, loop design and stability
- Computer interfaces for sensors, actuators and data conversion
- Software development system emulators/ probes
- Information theory, inc. digital filters and communication systems theory
- Basic physics principles (mechanical, fluid, electromagnetic)
You’ll work on cutting-edge products, for implementation in extremely harsh environments – this will test your engineering ability to the full!!!
