Global market leader based in Frankfurt urgently requires an experienced and highly technical Development Team Leader with good German and English language skills to join their award winning development team.
Candidates must have a good degree (ideally in a related discipline), strong commercial (Java)development experience with substantial management exposure. Technically, candidates should have solid experience with J2EE applications, using both backend Java and web technologies eg. Javascript, JSTL, AJAX. The successful applicant will be working with technologies including Spring, JSP, MySQL, Tomcat, ANT/ Ivy and CVS, so knowledge of any of these as well would be very desirable.
Applicants should be fluent in creating and managing project plans, along with excellent communication skills and a good understanding of relational database concepts including SQL, indexes, transactions and writing software that communicates with a database.
