Senior RF IC/MMIC Design Engineer - UK

Our client is a world leading Semiconductor company with an excellent reputation who currently seek a Senior RF IC/MMIC Design Engineer to work alongside the design team working on Microwave & MM-wave frequencies for Automotive Radar applications.

In this role you will be working on RF/MM IC circuit design covering all aspects of new product development including product definition, identification of suitable architectures, project leadership and mentoring more junior engineers. You will be working on advanced 28nm CMOS and/or 0.18u SiGe BiCMOS processes consisting of blocks such as; fractional-N PLLs, VCOs, PAs, LNAs, mixers, filters, PGAs and also A/D and D/A converters. You will also be working closely with Evaluation, Layout, Test, Modeling and Packaging engineers.

Part of this role related to product definition will include visiting customers worldwide and working with the marketing and application teams to ensure that the product is financially viable and meets customer requirements. Hence good communication skills in English are essential for this role.

Industry degree qualified, the successful RF IC or MMIC Design engineer will have experience in high speed / RF IC design on advanced CMOS, using the Cadence Design Environment or ADS/Momentum. Experience of RF lab test and measurement equipment will be ideal.
