(Cisco, Checkpoint) Internet Security Engineer required by a leading service provider based in London. Applicants will have relevant and proven experience maintain existing security services for customers whilst designing and implementing improvements where applicable. Essential technical skills: Cisco range (Pix Firewalls, Routers, Switches etc. CCSP preferred – not essential), Checkpoint Firewalls (CCSA, CCSE preferred – not essential), IP protocols (IPSEC), SSL, VPN's, Network Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Penetration testing and vulnerability scanning with both commercial and Open Source tools. Applicants will also require experience with both Windows and Unix/ Linux based operating systems. The ideal candidate will come from a Telco, Service Provider (ISP) or Banking environment. Due to work carried out with European counterparts, fluency in a second European language (i.e. French, German etc.) would be highly advantageous.
