Paramedics wanted for NHS 111/ Telephone Triage roles, Oxfordshire

Are you a qualified Paramedic with at least 2 years recent UK work experience? Have you considered working in Telephone Triage?

Merco Medical is working with an NHS Trust in Oxfordshire that is currently looking to recruit additional Paramedics for their NHS 111 service on a temp to perm basis.

You will be working in an NHS 111 service answering calls from the public needing urgent medical advice

You will use the NHS Pathways computer system to assist in the decision making process

Part time hours available - shifts are mainly evenings and weekends

Paid training provided

3 month temp to perm post

For the first 3 months you will be paid hourly at £27/hr. After this initial 3 month period you will become an employee of the Trust, on a salary of up to £43,400, which includes enhancements for evening and weekend working.

To be considered you will need:

Min. 2 years recent Paramedic experience in the UK

Excellent written and verbal English language skills

To be IT literate

Current HCPC registration

Interviews will be held throughout April, training will commence early May.
