An exciting opportunity for a Java developer working with an experienced eCommerce team which is primarily responsible for the website of a large insurance company. This is a great opportunity for a Java developr to get the chance to work with new and emerging front end technologies and also have the atonomy to make a real impact on a live site.

Due to the on-going success this client is expanding the team and are looking for a Java Web Developer with strong front-end skills to enhance their capabilities. This client is looking for someone with Web front-end skills along with good Java skills.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Applicants are required to have solid Web Development experience with proven project experience on the development of transactional eCommerce websites including experience of responsive design and CSS.

Experience is required in the following:

Development using Javascript Frameworks - ie JQuery / KnockoutJS / AngularJS

Knowledge of Closure Tools / NodeJS a bonus.

Java

HTML5

CSS3 with Responsive Design

LESS / SASS

Source Control - Git

Front End Test Tools - ie Jasmine / PhantomJS / qUnit

The succesful Java Developer will have the benefit of working in a modern office in the heart of Dublin city centre, you will work within a team of 7 Java developers but will share an office floor space with 30 other members of IT. There is a great atmostphere & this is one of the best opportunities for a Mid level Java Developer to advance their career.
