Our client, a leading, Switzerland's most successful international financial services group, is looking for a
Senior Architect Global FX Operations- OOA, OOD, UML, J2EE, .NET to join their team based in Zurich.
This interesting position will allow the successful candidate to define the global FX Operations IT architecture. The position involves working in a demanding environment where he/ she will define, document, communicate and supervise the implementation of this architecture. The opportunity is given to drive the analysis and design of the programme, for which the candidate will also identify key architectural structures, components and interfaces. Good communication skills are demanded, because this role includes a close working relationship with individual stream and regional architects to align existing streams and drive the overall implementation and compliance with the overall architecture. Moreover, the responsibility to produce documentation of the architecture and communicate to all stakeholders is included in the role.
The ideal candidate has a degree or higher education in IT and/ or Business/ Economics or equivalent. Past experience as a Software Engineer with cross-platform and cross-regional application architecture is essential to be successful in this role. Furthermore, experience with modern software engineering methods, such as OOA and OOD, as well as web architects, design patterns and iterative-incremental software development is demanded. The ideal candidate has know-how with UML, J2EE, .NET and relational databases, knowledge of FX operations architecture is desirable, but not essential.
Fluent English and German skills (verbal/ written) are a plus.
