Our client, a leading, global Swiss investment bank is looking for a
Business Analyst (FX Settlements, treasury, OTC)- UML, SQL to join their ADI team based in Zurich.
Working within this team, which is in charge of the design and modeling for the treasury products settlements as well as for technical and requirements analysis, the ideal candidate will focus on the requirements capture and documentation side, but also supports the team for testing process. Main responsibilities are the collaboration with the Operations Line to clarify business requirements and to write these concisely to then take the lead in the production of technical specifications. The candidate will also ensure that the solution fits IT technical and development strategy. Furthermore, test objectives have to be defined, test scripts developed, and the role of the bridge between business and IT organizations will be taken in order to provide a central point during the development, testing and implementation process. Additionally, the matching candidate will draw on an excellent understanding of the Treasury Products and OTC settlement processes, possibly with hands on experience.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business studies, Economics or in an IT related field. Experience in the settlement area and as a Business Analyst in the financial industry is demanded, when experience of treasury products or OTC products is highly desirable. To be successful in this role, familiarity with the software development cycle is required and clear requirements writing skills are demanded. A plus would be experience in test execution and with test tools as well as UML, use Cases or Business Flow modeling. Some database and SQL knowledge would be desirable. Excellent English skills (verbal/ written) are essential, German skills are desirable.
