Our client has a large range of vehicles and equipment specifically configured for the military. Due to company growth and strong orders they are looking to recruit an Electronics Design Engineer.
The Role: Electronic Design Engineer
As Electronic Design Engineer you will be responsible for:
+ Microcontroller based board level design
+ Sensors and sensor interface design
+ Motors, Actuators, solenoid drive circuit design
+ DC Power supplies design (inc. filters)
+ Audio and Video circuit design
+ Circuit Schematic and PCB layout
+ Writing product specifications from customer requirements
+ Writing Test specifications
Experience:
As Electronic Design Engineer you will have experience of:
+ Degree qualified or equivalent in Electronic/ Electrical Engineering or other relevant discipline
+ Communication Networks (Ethernet, CAN, RS485 etc.)
+ Designing for EMC
+ Thermal issues in a compact design
+ Specifying Cables and Connector for applications ranging from PCB mount to Military standard bulk head type connectors
+ Good PCB fault finding skills
+ Ability to produce good design documentation.
+ The use of CAD tools such as ORCAD, DX Designer, Mentor Graphics Expedition Enterprise
