My client, a blue chip organisation, at the forefront of the IT & Telecommunications industry, continues to grow and has recently announced superb half year figures. Due to continued growth an experienced Network Designer / Network Architect is urgently required for its Core Networks team.
As the Network Designer, you will join an experienced team of Network Designers, where you will be responsible for the design, testing and 4th line support of core network & access solutions with a particular focus on IP / MPLS networks.
Currently a Network Designer / Network Architect, you will ideally currently hold qualifications in networking with an emphasis on CCNP, CCDP & CCIE. You will need to have an in-depth IP / MPLS networks design & architecture background and be proficient in the following: Large-scale IP WAN networks, LAN, Routing & Switching, VPN's, Voice, Firewalls (Pix & Nokia preferred) and network management systems. Additional knowledge of Alcatel networks is highly advantageous
Not only are your technical skills key for this role but you will be expected to be work with key internet & external clients to creating design specs and it is therefore essential that you are an excellent communicator able to influence where necessary.
