Our client is a leading I.T Infrastructure outsourcer with large contracts in place with the MoD.
A vacancy has arisen for an Asset Redefinition Information Analyst.
Job Description for Asset Redefinition Information Analyst:
JOB TITLE:Asset Redefinition Information Analyst
This program is to conduct a Defence Wide inventory capture / review exercise which includes the validation and reconciliation of items to ensure asset databases and SAP are correct. The scope of the program is to cover the following:-
•Assets owned
•Assets owned by a customer
•
This is a temporary position for 6 months.
ROLE SUMMARY:
Staff Responsibilities:
Communication with all levels of staff
Work as part of a team but ability to work alone
Gather data and produce reports in a timely and professional manner
Load all documentation / reports into secure repository
Co-ordinate the retrieval of Procurement data
Co-ordinate the alignment of Software & Software Licenses
Co-ordinate reconciliation for Hardware – Software data
Co-ordinate reconciliation for Hardware & Software Asset Management processes
Co-ordinate reconciliation for Hardware & Software purchasing processes
DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION:
The post-holder will be a team player who demonstrates the following skills/ experience:
Working knowledge of Asset Management, Change Management, Procurement and Supply Chain Management within the Defence space.
Good communication skills (verbal and written) with an emphasis in planning / co-ordinating
Ability to prioritise tasks unsupervised
Good time management skills
ESSENTIALS SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS:
Security Cleared
Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
Working knowledge of Quality Standards, GAD QMS, eQMS, ISO 9x, ISO20x
A desire to undertake a challenge
Ability to work to a tight deadline
DESIRABLE SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS:
ITIL skills in Asset Management
