SAP SCM/ SAP MM/ Purchase to Pay cycle, Material Master, Purchasing Master data, Warehouse Management and Logistics Execution.Pharmaceuticals giant with UK offices in Hull and Warwick are looking for a SENIOR SCM ANALYST.The SAP SCM Analyst is responsible for ensuring the daily operation, and continued development of the SAP Materials Management and Logistics Executions modules of SAP across multiple sites, in support of key business processes.
The Role:-Provide day to day support and ongoing operation of the SAP MM/ LE modules across multiple SAP sites , via a formal support model.-Conduct issue resolution to resolve issues idefied by the business users.-Deliver effective and robust SAP solutions that meet the business requirements/ objectives via SAP configuration and/ or the generation of functional specifications for ABAP development.-Develop necessary change documentation in accordance with GIS standards.-In conjunction with Business Analysts and Business Representatives identify process improvement opportunities, provide recommendations and generate business requirements to meet key business objectives, and provide value within the business.-Conduct Unit testing and manage change through system adhering to GIS SAP Change Management Procedures. -Assist and where necessary lead business representatives to ensure effective integration testing take place in relevant functional area.-Ensure solutions delivered, integrate with other SAP modules and conform to the necessary SAP and GIS guidelines.-Use OSS to interface with SAP?s support mechanism as required.-Perform all activities in compliance with the internal and external requirements / standards for Health & Safety, Quality, Regulatory and Finance.
Required Skills and experience
-Experience of defining and implementing business process improvements, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.-SAP Configuration and User Support experience in and around the SAP Materials Management and logistics execution modules, including multiple SAP implementations. -Functional SAP knowledge of SAP Materials Management including the Purchase to Pay cycle, Material Master, Purchasing Master data, Warehouse Management and Logistics Execution.-Strong knowledge of SAP module integration and downstream impacts.-Experience of using SAP Batch Management would be a big plus.-Experience of working in a Global organization would be desirable.-Experience of defining and implementing business process improvements, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.-SAP Configuration and User Support experience in and around the SAP Materials Management and logistics execution modules, including multiple SAP implementations. -Functional SAP knowledge of SAP Materials Management including the Purchase to Pay cycle, Material Master, Purchasing Master data, Warehouse Management and Logistics Execution.-Strong knowledge of SAP module integration and downstream impacts.-Experience of using SAP Batch Management would be a big plus.-Experience of working in a Global organization would be desirable.
