A world ranked international construction consultancy with offices worldwide are seeking a Senior Architect/ Architect to join their team to work on some of the most breath taking projects in the world. The successful candidate will be working on large scale building projects based from their offices in Oman. This company offers a generous expatriate salary and full assistance in relocation.
The Senior Architect/ Architect will be responsible for reviewing documents at various phases in accordance with projects plans for the successful completion of the Duqum Beach Hotel. In this role understanding urban and architectural quality will be paramount as will interpreting building and zoning codes and providing technical solutions that will influence design.
<b><u>Who are they looking for?</ b></ u>
The Senior Architect should have B.Arch Degree in Architecture.
Membership of a professional Architectural Association such as RIBA and AIA is preferred.
Prior experience in the Gulf Region would be advantageous.
Please note that the role will be based in Duqum (600km south of Muscat). Candidates will need to be willing to be accommodated on site' at Duqum.
<b><u>The role of the Senior Architect/ Architect</ b></ u>
-Reviewing documents in various phases for design intent, materials use and Master Plan intent.
- Coordinating with consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies as necessary in meetings, drawings and other forms of communication.
- Proposing improved solutions on technical issues influencing design.
- Communicating with governmental agencies or officials for purpose of approvals and permits.
- Conducting on-site observations and compliance checks on previously reviewed design work.
