Exciting role based in Cheltenham, Gloucester, with an organisation you will know. My client is a large, UK wide organisation who are going through a process of modernisation. Due to the programme of work they are now looking to recruit a Technical Services Manager, to manage & support an ICT Infrastructure to ensure that it is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and the companys products and services are available to agreed service levels. You will also provide a business continuity & recovery services for ICT equipment & systems. You will develop & execute business plans & strategies to ensure objectives are met. You will provide technical direction, guidance, conflict resolution and management resources to enable all areas of my client achieve their objectives. You will set budget (around £700,000), negotiate with internal & external customers, approve ICT design, architecture and approach to complex systems development, manage IT security and deputise any Senior Manager in the department. You will need considerable experience in an ICT management position, experience of developing business plans between 1 - 3 windows, project costings, familiarity with the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), strong Project Management skills, experience of line management , working knowledge in a QA environment, service desk management, data securiissues and working knowledge of current IT infrastructure & services. Based in Cheltenham, flexible working, excellent package, salary £45,000 + benefits.
