The Senior Programmer Analyst is a key player in the development of custom code solutions in standard user exit space as well other ABAP related programs.
The RoleThis position focuses on the general ABAP development of reports, programs, tables, functional modules, user exits, as well as sapscript and smart form output. You will be responsible for optimizing the SAP solution and supporting the design requirements as identified by users and/ or SAP team members and analysts.The Senior Programmer Analysts develops, maintains and supports the SAP design and technical objects by resolving defects, solving end user problems, answering related questions and testing/ validating functionality. This person is responsible for optimizing process improvement projects from technical and business perspectives. You will lead small projects using cross team and business resources as assigned.
Required Skills
- Seven years of experience defining and implementing business process improvements though coding solutions, preferably in a discrete manufacturing and/ or distribution environment.- Four to Five years SAP development and user support experience.- One to Two SAP full life cycle projects and go-lives required. Additional go-live implementation and/ or version upgrade experience a plus. - SAP ABAP / Development knowledge of ABAP Reports, ABAP online transactions, User Exits, Batch Programming, SAP Script Output, IDOC development and maintenance, Data Dictionary, Function Module, and other development objects is essential..- Must be able to translate functional requirements into new coded solutions or push back to configuration solutions as required - Strong knowledge of SAP module integration and downstream impacts.- Excellent problem solving skills, analytical skills and willingness to work in a team and project-oriented environment.- Ability to handle and manage multiple projects and resources effectively.- Project management, planning, and organizing skills- Experience in working with and communicating with others using Microsoft Office- Experience with workflow is a plus- Understanding and working knowledge of the SAP developer?s workbench.
