Quantity Surveyor - Stand alone role to run your own Projects - Construction
My client is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Project Quantity Surveyor, to perform the role of stand alone Quantity Surveyor, working on your own portfolio of construction projects. The successful Quantity Surveyor will ideally have some stand alone projects, with experience of Quantity Surveying on packages / projects valued up to at least £6 million.
Location: Office based from Reading, with Quantity Surveyor sites within a 30 mile radius of the office
The Quantity Surveyor role:
As the successful Quantity Surveyor you will be expected to perform stand alone duties, working alongside 2 Senior Quantity Surveyors, and 1 Trainee Quantity Surveyor. The projects that you will be responsible for will mostly be within the construction sector, and specifically be a mixture of Commercial, Health, Education and High class Residential. The Construction arm of the company currently turns over around £12 million per annum, an increase on last years figures. This is a sign of the continued growth of the business.

My client is a well known UK Contractor - who operates within the Construction and Civil Engineering sectors. As a business they have 10 UK regional offices, which are based in the South East, Thames Valley and Midlands areas.
Remuneration:
Up to £50,000 per annum, depending on Quantity Surveyor experience
Company car / car allowance with mileage expenses paid
Company Pension and Bonus scheme
Quantity Surveyor Requirements:
Stand Alone / Project Quantity Surveyor experience
Ideally a minimum of 4 years UK Quantity Surveyor experience
Knowledge of JCT contract
Record of running multiple projects valued between £200,000 and £3 million advantageous
