They are looking for an Oracle DBA / Oracle database administrator to join their impressive operations where you will maintain, support and assist in the development of Oracle databases versions 8i, 9i, 10g, on Win2003, Solaris 9 and Linux RedHat Enterprise platforms, on a SAN infrastructure. You will undertake Database Administration and contribute to the development and continuous review of appropriate practices, standards and guidelines.
As an Oracle DBA / Oracle database administrator you will also have the chance to have a technical input in infrastructure projects and undertake project work, building new databases or enhancing the existing databases.
The successful Oracle DBA will need to have extensive experience of using Oracle 8i, 9i and 10g as well as Dataguard, RAC, RMAN, OEM. As an Oracle DBA you will also need to have experience of working on UNIX / Solaris / Redhat / Linux Enterprise platforms, on a SAN infrastructure. As a senior member of the team you will also have mentored junior team members
