The Technical Support Engineer will provide on-site installation, training and support. Installation will generally be carried out in hospitals and pharmacies and customer liaison will be with medical and pharmacy staff.
You will be required to:
* Liaise closely with the customer to understand technical requirements for installation
* Set up and build of customer database in advance of the installation process
* Establish an agreed installation schedule with the customer
* Provide remote support to customers as required
* Establish the cause of the problem and provide a solution, where possible, via email or telephone
Educated to A Level standard or equivalent
Basic understanding of Local Area Networks and multi-user installations
Ability to configure PC Hardware
Working knowledge of Windows3.1x, Windows 95, Windows 2000 and XP
Fluent in English and German - verbal and written
Able to travel in the UK, mainland Europe and Middle East for up to 60% of the time, including overnight and weekends
Demonstrable experience of good organisational skills, communication skills and customer service skills
