A vacancy exists for a Technical Delivery Manager (TDM) within the International Technical Project Delivery team located in Croydon. The TDM is responsible for the day-to-day project management of all aspects of application software development across multiple technology platforms and disciplines; IBM mainframe, Midrange, and PC. As part of the International Treasury Technology (ITT) organization, the candidate will perform a highly visible, senior role leading the delivery of global initiatives for a number of lines of business including GPS, GTO, FX Operations, Finance and the Enterprise.
•Accountable for the day-to-day leadership and technical project management, working in conjunction with Business Delivery Management to deliver projects on time and on budget.
•Plan, control, track and report all technology deliverables across the various global organizations.
•Liaise with Resource Managers to ensure that resources are planned, assigned and committed to the technical projects.
•Create and maintain detailed work plans in Microsoft Project.
•Facilitate technical work group meetings and technology deliverables.
•Provide, track and report project financial budget forecasts, ensuring that variances are proactively managed and resolved in a timely manner.
•Produce regular, thorough and accurate project status reports written at the appropriate target audience - from technical project team member to Senior Management. Participate in meetings with Senior Management and provide appropriate input and feedback.
•Ensure project changes are managed and executed properly.
•Ensure that project issues and risks are accurately logged, tracked, resolved and escalated appropriately.
•For all deliverables, ensure adherence to Banks processes.
•Work with Resource Managers to support Associate development activities and provide performance feedback.
•Close liaison with change management, the business community, technical groups within Banks globally and external vendors.
