This organisation provides systems engineering and project management services to the MoD. They are looking to employ a CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear) Technology Specialist due to the expanding development of technology programmes within the specialist vehicle assessment phase.
The CBRN Technology Specialist responsibilities will include:
•The integration of CBRN systems onto vehicles to assist with requirements development
•The development of technology demonstration programmes for MoD strategic investment
•The requirements development for a fleet of Specialist Vehicles (for example Reconnaissance vehicles, Direct Fire/ Medium Armour) for the UK land Army
•Understanding and defining strategic and tactical risks (technology and programme risks)
Requirements and Qualifications for a CBRN Technology Specialist consist of:
•Experience of CBRN systems
•Degree or PhD Qualified Chartered Engineer – (Science based i.e. engineering, chemistry, physics, biology)
•Knowledge of Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear detector technologies.
•Recent experience of Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear detection systems(CBRN)
•Systems engineering, Project management and Contract management experience
•Experience of Technology Development Programme
•Design experience
•UK SECURITY CLEARANCE – or British Nationality and capable of obtaining Security Clearance to SC Level
