Our client is looking for several Cost Engineers/ Analysts to start work immediately due to the rapid expansion and growth within their organisation. They have the largest UK consultant capability in the Defence market. The Defence Systems business is a progressive and rapidly expanding sector and they are seeking high quality, professional, committed and flexible individuals to join a leading supplier of integrated technologically based solutions to the defence systems and aerospace market.
The role of Cost Engineer/ Analyst will include:
•The development of an existing cost model and usage of the model to determine through life costs.
•Investigating performance / cost / time tradeoffs, and to assess overall programme affordability.
•A significant amount of liaison across all systems engineering activities as well as with other programme functions.
•Some work outside normal office hours may be necessary. Travel to and from client sites and/ or temporary secondment to client's offices may also be required.
Successful candidates for the Cost Engineer/ Analyst role will have skills, experience and qualifications in:
•Cost Modelling
•Software Development
•Visual Basic
•Defence Industry
•Systems Engineering
•Degree in Engineering, Maths, Computing or Physical Science
•SECURITY – All candidates must be in a position to obtain UK security clearance to SC level
