My client is currently looking to take on a Proposals Manager with a wealth of experience within the Aerospace sector. The client provides complete system solutions for all types of aircraft in the civil and military sectors. The position of Proposals Manager has arisen to the constant growth and expansion of the marketplace.
The Proposals Manager position entails:
•Presenting a proposal, a brochure or a presentation to our client's customers in a clear and persuasive form, which will be key to the success of their business.
•Taking responsibility for the generation and production of proposals, brochures and presentations to a consistently high quality professional standard
•Overseeing the writers/ authors of the proposals, brochures and presentation to ensure that they are being generated in accordance with the company standards
•Acting as editor of proposals, brochures and presentations to ensure that the company is speaking in a consistent manner with one voice.
•Ensuring that there is a clear plan for the production of any proposal in terms of timescales, content, style and format
•Being responsible for the rigorous enforcement of version control and ensure the most current version of each proposal section is safely stored and available on an as-need basis to other members of the proposal team.
•Taking part in any reviews to track and ensure timely delivery of a high quality professional proposal
•Maintaining close relationship with the Communications Dept to ensure high quality professional brochures and presentation material
Further skills and experience required for the Proposals Manager include:
•Previous experience of working in the Aerospace/ Avionics/ Defence sector
•Experience of establishing and/ or enforcing clearly defined standards (covering style, format, content and process) for proposals, brochures and presentations
•High levels of IT, publishing and editing skills
