PROCESS AND SENIOR PROCESS ENGINEER
MAJOR STEEL/ METALS INDUSTRY EQUIPMENT
BASED STOCKTON-ON-TEES
Acting as Lead Engineer the Process and Senior Process Engineers will take full responsibility for proposals and projects under their control. You will supervise production of and/ or produce process design calculations (heat and mass balance, fluid dynamics, heat transfer), P & ID’s, process flow diagrams, process data sheets. You will liaise with other disciplines in order to expedite the design process, answering queries. You will lead the execution of the relevant Health and Safety Reviews including Hazops. You will assist in the writing of the Operating and Commissioning Manuals. You will assist the commissioning process on site as appropriate typically acting as team leader. Duties will also include providing technical support to the Sales Team and Client liaison
Educated to degree level in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgy, consideration also to be given to a Chemistry degree with an appropriate background. Experience of working in the Process Engineering Industry, Iron and Steel Industry would be particularly beneficial.
