I have a requirement for a Functional Oracle Consultant to join a large multinational manufacturing organisation. You will join a team working on worldwide implementations of the manufacturing modules of Oracle E-Business suite and will provide a high level of functional analysis and project management expertise to various stages of the projects although this will not be the main function of the role. You will also train, implement and support Purchasing, Inventory, Bills of Materials, Supply Chain Planning/ Advanced Supply Chain planning and Work In Process modules of Oracle ERP system.

Responsibilities include:
•Provides leadership for assigned projects and modules of Oracle EBS implementations.
•Provides analysis and specifications for work for any new or changed system requirements. Documents business policies, practices and procedures.
•Develops training materials and deliver formal training for each new site
•Leads analysis for conversion of existing legacy data into Oracle.
•Provides hands-on support during first days and weeks of pilot and production use of system at implementation sites.
•Provides remote support to all users of the Oracle EBS system.
•Coordinates and leads development and maintenance of consistent Manufacturing procedures across numerous business sites.
•Provides full complete regression testing of Manufacturing modules for patches and upgrades including working with Oracle support to diagnose and resolve problems with system.
•Analyzes and specifies requirements to developers for new or changing system functions.
•Effectively leads change, working with management and users to ensure involvement, participation, and encouragement of others ideas and contributions for effective teamwork and project completion.
•Provides project management leadership for assigned projects

To be considered for this role you will need to have extensive experience working on IT projects within manufacturing including 3 years experience working directly with Oracle Manufacturing modules. You need to be a logical thinker who is capable of performing analysis to understand business needs and be able to define a detailed logical solution from either existing functionality or specifying upgrades to the systems. You must be an assertive leader with excellent communication and troubleshooting skills with some experience of project management methodologies. As part of this role you will be expected to travel frequently both domestically and internationally.

Salary on offer for this role is in the region of £50,000 per annum with generous benefits package. All expenses will be taken care of when travelling internationally.
