Job Description for Senior Resident Site Manager
You will be assigned to a project management team organisation and represent the client for all construction activities. These may involve participation in FEED, development of construction strategy and procedures, constructability reviews, logistics, planning, sub contractor selection and more. It is likely that you may be located at the project engineering centre prior to locating to the construction site.
Requirements
* H.N.C. minimum or recognised equivalent &/ or appropriate experience
* Significant, relevant and similar industry experience.
* Significant overseas experience and be able to demonstrate a high degree of leadership as well as technical expertise.
* Ability to take responsibility for projects in demanding and often remote locations
Responsibilities
Managing multi-disciplinary teams / contractors on the overall site.
Being fully familiar with contract requirements, company policy and procedures to ensure the requirements relating to the project are implemented.
Take a positive lead in ensuring the project achieves its objectives in respect of HSE, Quality, Cost and schedule.
Ensuring HSE is paramount in every task carried out with the objective of zero HSE incidents.
Maintaining effective communication and co-ordination between construction team, client and contractors.
Ensure effective management of site labour force / contractors in your area of responsibility.
Helping develop, implement and maintain strategy to ensure project objectives are attained.
Ensure that Construction requirements are realistically qualified and incorporated into the project budgets and planning system.
