Are you an automation engineer with visual basic experience looking to work in a unique role within a thriving automotive company?
You will be the specialist on site responsible for programming and commissioning automation and controls on bespoke end of line test and assembly machinery.
Due to growth, this automotive tier 1 supplier are currently recruiting a number of engineering positions. Established over 90 years this company has a reputation for quality and innovation. They have more than 450 employees in the UK and have a site turnover of over £40 million. With a full order book the company plan to expand their product range to meet a number of prestigious client's needs.
The machines are mainly PLC and electronic controlled. You will utilise your programming skills to develop testing programs, commission machines on new production lines and modify existing lines for new functions.
The Role:
* Programming and commissioning PLC and electronic control systems.
* Developing and writing programs from scratch.
* Some maintenance and fault finding on electronic boards and PLC's.
The Person:
* HNC Electrical/ Electronic Engineering
* PLC programming experience.
* Visual Basic programming experience.
* Electronic fault finding.
