SALES EXECUTIVES

My client is a financial specialist in the procurement, processing and distribution of international financial information. As financial market specialists they gather information from all the world's major trading venues – directly and in real time. Their database with its structured and encoded securities administration data for more than 4.2 million financial instruments is unique in terms of its depth of information and data coverage.

There target market for new business sales is the Securities Processing industry (back-offices of financial institutions and independent outsourcing / service providers to financial institutions). You will be required to work on a specific target segments within this client space.

Identify and win business with new prospects in your defined target market.

Establish and building contact with decision-makers, users, management and consultants within potential customer organisations.

Become familiar with the chosen industry, by understanding the key issues and trends of the industry and visiting industry exhibitions and conferences.

Administrative and project management tasks: Creating a sales plan for each suspect/ prospect, write visit reports and bi-weekly suspect/ prospect lists, maintain suspect/ prospect files, create analysis and regular status reports on sales activities.

Develop and maintain a sales budget together with the Sales Manager.

Degree-level education in any subject.

Business-to-business sales experience in a similar function (ideally in the financial information industry, alternatively in the banking/ financial services industry).

Demonstrate an understanding of our customers' industry (Securities processing/ Custody).

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Existing contacts with professionals in the local market and a proven ability to build lasting relationships with industry professionals to identify new prospects, business opportunities and new industry trends.

Project management skills in orchestrating sales, both complex and straightforward.

Tenacity, drive and target focus.
