A position has arisen within one of our client's organisations for an Aircraft Systems Engineer. The organisation has a comprehensive list of products and services which they offer, including civil aviation, military, energy, integrated simulation and entertainment simulation.
The Aircraft Systems Engineer's primary purpose will entail:
•Responsibility for the design, code, integration and testing of performance models and systems onto primarily new build commercial aircraft simulators and training devices
•These models will include typical aircraft engines, Auxiliary Power Unit (APU), Air Conditioning, Pneumatics & Electrical Power, Oxygen & Lighting, Landing Gear and Slats, Fuel Systems, Hydraulic Power, Flaps, Ice & Rain Protection and Fire Protection
Those applying for the role of Aircraft Systems Engineer should have previous experience and technical knowledge of:
•Mathematical modelling
•Aircraft Systems
•The Engineering Simulation Industry
•Testing and Integration of Software/ Hardware Systems
•Programming in C
•UNIX and NT operating systems
•Programming in FORTRAN
•Visual Basic
•Real-time software planning
