Network Specialist, LAN, WAN, Nortel, Cisco, CCNP, London. My client, a London based, FTSE 100 listed firm are currently the fastest growing and most innovative users of technology, globally. They have a large number of technical and business awards to their name and with their powerful global presence are a leader in the financial arena.
In this role you will provide the support and administration for the network infrastructure, manage the global network equipment, be responsible for the maintenance of network documentation and also produce network design documentation for internal and customer network infrastructure projects.
To be considered for this position you will have proven hands-on experience of supporting, administrating and designing LAN and WAN routed and switched environments. You are also required to have an understanding of enterprise networking. Having a Cisco design qualification, ideally CCNP, would be a distinct advantage for this role. In addition to this, experience in supporting and administrating Nortel, Cisco, Paketeer and Bluecoat networking products is required. A good understanding of the financial markets and hedge fund sector is also highly advantageous.
