Graphics Hardware Design Engineer with IP, VHDL, OpenGL, UNIX, C/ C++ required for a media processing based design role in the South East. My client is seeking a strong Graphics Hardware Design Engineer to fill an existing skills gap within their organisation while permanent resource is found. The fundamentals of the role require strong expertise with VHDL although engineers with Verilog and a strong appreciation of Open GL-ES and OpenVG. You will be:
-Contributing significantly to design and verification;
-Designing complex architectures and implementing the IP;
-Verifying functionality and mentoring other engineers;
This is an opportunity within a leading Cambridge organisation with a global presence and a great name to add to the CV. Furthermore you'll also be acquiring highly marketable niche graphics skills. An initial 3 month contract is on offer but this will in all likelihood be extended for a total of 6 months work.
