DSP Software Engineer, Hampshire World Leader
My client, a world leader in their field is looking for a DSP Software Engineer to join there rapidly expanding team. The ideal candidate will have A good degree (1st or 2.1) / Masters in Electronic Engineering or equivalent is required. The candidate must have extensive experience of real time video processing and DSP software. In particular TI devices, ideally with experience of video or audio real time processing. The candidate must be able to optimize the performance of the algorithm by analysis of the data flow through the DSP and working at a low level to maximize pipeline efficiency. An appreciation and basic understanding of hardware design principles is important. Knowledge of digital video and audio standards, video compression techniques are beneficial. The role will involve development and enhancement of DSP software, working closely with hardware and platform software engineers to produce system solutions. Undertake design, coding, unit and integration testing activities to ensure that each assignment is completed to time and fulfils the original requirements specification.
