Network Support Technician - Lincoln, Lincolnshire, East Midlands. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join my client, a successful IT network management company. The role is entirely centred on the company's US operations and so the daily hours are 2pm - 10pm (to be in line with the US working day).
You will communicate with third parties to facilitate the remote installation of network equipment for US customers to enable configuration to take place. You will also carry out the configuration process of network equipment, test connectivity and provide network support to the customers.
The ideal candidate is CCNA certified and has strong knowledge of TCP/ IP networking, DHCP, DNS, Wireless Lan as well as knowledge of Linux. You should have strong network support and troubleshooting experience as well as experience of managing firewalls. In addition strong working knowledge of Cisco equipment is essential.
