Technical Analyst / Systems Analyst
A leading Multinational Travel Company are currently seeking an experienced Technical / Systems Analyst to join an existing team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in systems analysis taking business requirements through to low-level design; a background within programming using languages such as Java, C# .Net; Full understanding of the project lifecycle; Responsibilities to include: Analysis to support the high-level design of major application changes (within the framework set by Technical architects) Pre project initiation analysis to support the Business with their requirements ; Develop an excellent understanding of one or more systems, how these systems support the business, how these systems interact with other corporate applications, and their place in the overall IT architecture; Generate technical analysis for highly complex or demanding requirements in such a way that benefits can be realised sooner and with higher productivity; Create suitable analysis documentation and / or data models for others (including 3rd party offshore suppliers) to work from; Evaluate different technical options for developments that will have a significant contribution to business success, balancing risk with opportunity; Analyse systems proactively to identify problems and trends and propose detailed technical solutions and recommend changes to optimise system performance and usability.
