This innovative provider of award winning IT solutions have enjoyed phenomenal success, they are currently launching a new range of leading edge products into the market and due to their continued growth have an opportunity for an experienced IT Operations Manager to take on a pivotal role in the company. The role will be responsible for all the IT Operational aspects of the business and will report directly to the board of directors.

The role of IT Operations Manager encompasses a number of responsibilities which span hands on technical, operational and documentation tasks. Main responsibilities include; developing Standard Operating Procedures for all IT Related tasks, developing IT Policies and Risk Assessments, Documenting and Managing existing and new hardware infrastructure, liaising with 3rd party suppliers, managing network, data and infrastructure security and managing junior operations staff. This is a varied and interesting role in which you can work autonomously in a highly skilled and friendly environment.

The successful Technical Operations Manager will have experience in an Operational Management Role involving financial data, have strong management skills, good knowledge of documentation, be proficient developing IT Policy and have technical experience with Redhat Linux, Dell Hardware, Cisco PIX Firewalls and WAN Technology. Additional technical skills in RDBMS, JBoss, Tomcat and Apache would be beneficial but is by no means essential.
