My client is a large blue-chip company working on exciting Defence and Public Sector projects. I am looking to recruit someone to join their System Design Centre as a Solution Architect. In this role, you will be converting business requirements into technically viable solutions, while providing technical support and guidance to other members of the design team, sales teams, the programme management team, the risk manager, and the customer. You will take ownership of the technical roadmap for your project, and ensure that the appropriate technical methods are used throughout the task. You will also highlight future solutions and architectures to the business development teams to drive future business.
To be successful in this role, you will have a relevant degree in Engineering, either in Information Technology, Electronics, Telecommunications or similar. You will also have training in system engineering methods, such as RUP, DoDAF, MoDAF, etc.
The successful candidate will have relevant experience in major design, development, or implementation projects, with some experience as the lead designer or engineer on a project larger than £50M. You will have relevant experience in a customer facing role, and one key role interfacing to a public sector organisation where safety was a consideration.
As this role requires SC Security Clearance, only those with current British Passports, who were born in the UK, and who have not worked outside the UK in the past 5 years will be contacted for interview.
