<b>What do this company do?</ b>

Capital allowances consultants specialise in the maximisation of tax relief on commercial properties, both purchased and newly developed, by splitting the cost of development into its component parts, including land and buildings and identifying those parts which qualify as ‘plant and machinery' for capital allowances relief. This involves carrying out a detailed inspection of the property and preparing a detailed cost estimate of the construction with special emphasis on the qualifying assets which include electro-mechanical installations, security installations, fire precautions, carpets, fittings and fixtures and many others.

As well as preparing estimates, a capital allowances consultant will also be acquainted with the case law surrounding the qualification of ‘plant and machinery' as well as the statute law on capital allowances.

It is also their duty to agree the capital allowances claim with HM Revenue & Customs as well as the Valuation Office, which can involve a certain amount of negotiation.

Our innovative and custom-written search engine places an importance upon tags chosen to be representative of the content, however it also indexes all content to provide you with the most relevant results

Please note that the Quick Search operates as Boolean search, so you can narrow your search by including operators such as "and" if more than one term is required to feature in the results. "+" will also work in the same way. I.e. "php and mysql london" is the same as "+php +mysql london".

The operator "or" does not need to be included as this is the default, i.e. "php or mysql or london" is the same as "php mysql london". You can also use "not" or - to exclude terms.
