Our client is a powerful provider of complete business and communications services, having enjoyed major revenue growth globally and with a leading reputation for delivery of outsourced IT Solutions they have a brand new opportunity for a high calibre HP EVA Storage / Backup Specialist to take on a pivotal role on one of the industries most exciting programmes.
The HP EVA Storage / Backup Specialist will be working on one of the worlds largest Microsoft programmes, you will be working as part of a highly enthusiastic and motivated team responsible for providing day to day operational support of the storage and backups for over 300 servers whilst maintaining service availability and performance. In addition you will be providing guidance and mentoring for other support engineers in the team.
The successful HP EVA Storage / Backup Specialist will be proficient in storage management and understand storage fundamentals such as SAN, DAS, SCSI and FC-AL, you should have extensive experience of HP Storage solutions and managing backup and recovery of data. A good knowledge of System Centre Data Protection Manager or similar is required as is a knowledge of Windows Server 2003 and 2008.
