Our client is a powerful provider of complete business and communications services, having enjoyed major revenue growth globally and with a leading reputation for delivery of outsourced IT Solutions they have a brand new opportunity for a high calibre Microsoft Technical Operations Manager to take on a pivotal role on one of the industries most exciting programmes.
The Microsoft Technical Operations Manager will be working on one of the worlds largest Microsoft Exchange programmes, heading up a team of Microsoft support engineers providing 3rd line operational support. You will be responsible for a team of more than 15 systems administrators managing and supporting the IT Infrastructure of over 400 servers. You will have full ownership of all the servers, storage and network infrastructure required to deliver the service.
The successful candidate will have a strong technical background with Microsoft server products including Exchange, Active Directory and SQL Server, aswell as a good knowledge of LAN/ WAN Technology, Cisco routers and switches, VLAN's and Firewalls. Strong team management and project management skills whilst being able to manage, drive and motivate a team of highly technical experts.
