VB6, Visual Basic, VB.net. Our client, a financial services organisation, is currently seeking a Visual Basic Developer to develop quality software and systems in line with current standards and processes. You will work through the full development life cycle, producing systems design and specification, producing and documenting programme code, assisting with testing and support where necessary.
Ideally you will be a graduate, or of graduate calibre, with at least 2 years commercial experience in Microsoft Visual Basic 6 and/ or Microsoft Visual Basic .Net 2005. Knowledge of backend databases (OracleSQL Server) as well as SQL would be advantageous. You will be comfortable working independently or as part of a team when achieving development goals.
