My clients is the leading developer of derivatives trading platforms and is expanding their London offices. They are looking for a quality 2nd Line support/ Technical Analyst who is at the top of there game.
As a member of our technical support team, you will be a key force in delivering analysis for both the front line support and engineering support. In your role, you will be responsible for analyzing issues and trying to present viable solutions. You are expected to keep abreast of internal product evolution and development, and to grow your technical and business understanding of electronic trading.
You will talk with many functions in the company and outside, from clients to developers why you are a good communicator and like being in the middle of the information flow.
You should have a very good understanding of electronic trading as well as a good technical profile. Good analytical skills are mandatory. Experience of C++ programming is of additional benefit. We expect you to be able to grow in your understanding of the applications architecture.
You need to be able to work determined and dedicated with solving problems that arise, using the knowledge you develop and communicate with our services and engineering support team to gather additional information required.
•Excellent communication skills and experience in dealing with both clients and internal functions.
•Motivation to build up an in depth knowledge of Aqtor and electronic trading.
•Very good problem solving skills.
•Fluent in spoken and written English
•Financial industry experience, preferably trading environment.
•A university degree in computer engineering / finance.
•Software development experience.
•Experience in working in a multicultural environment
•CRM-system or similar case-tracking-system experience,
