Our customer in Central London requires a DV cleared Java and SOA Technical Architect to work on an initial 6 month contract.
The Enterprise Architecture team that is looking for a Java and SOA Technical Architect to deliver assurance to key business projects and deliver enterprise architecture artefacts, patterns, and standards.
Terms of Reference/ Job Description:
• Work with key relationship partners to develop technical solutions to business problems.
• Provide technical assurance and review of development artefacts.
• Own and develop the standards for JEE, SOA, BPM within the organisation.
• Develop Enterprise Architecture models for SOA.
• Promote the use of EA technical standards with development projects to ensure alignment with the architectural review process.
• Work with programme and the Enterprise Architecture team to ensure that technical solutions are aligned to the EA strategies and provide input into the EA strategies.
• Lead the selection process for COTS products to solve business problems.
Qualifications/ Experience Required:
• 5 years and experience of system or application delivery (Essential).
• Experience if implementing SOA solutions for EAI in with a mixture of technologies and applications (Essential).
• Must have experience of one or more of the following Portal Servers/ Applications, BPEL process managers, Document management solutions, Collaboration Tools (One Essential).
• Experience of proving technical assurance (Essential).
• Experience of delivering architecture artefacts models, patterns and standards.
Personal Qualities/ Skills:
• Personal impact and credibility;
• A good communicator, ability to identify the key issues and goals;
• Capable of planning, ability to identify the key issues and goals;
Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply.
