We require an Oracle Application Server 10gAS and Database 10g DBA to assist in the implementation, management and support of my Newcastle based client's Oracle AS 10g infrastructure.
This includes Oracle Portal, Enterprise Manager, OID, WebCache and OC4J.
Candidates must have experience in Oracle AS 10g administration, patching and support within a Windows 2003 or Linux environment, along with Recovery Manager, disaster recovery procedures and documentation. Candidates with experience of earlier versions of Oracle iAS may be considered.
Experience of Windows 2003 clusters, Linux, Solaris, IBM Websphere or Oracle Web Centre or HR application suite would be desirable but not essential.
You will work at a senior level within a newly formed Oracle Support Team, managing and administrating the Oracle infrastructure and implementing the J2EE Service Oriented Architecture.
